2007 Scholarship Winner

Illini Club of Will County President Mark Lichtenwalter is pleased to announce the Illini Club of Will County Scholarship Recipient for 2007

The Illini Club of Will County Scholarship is a $4,000 ($1,000 per year) award to a new student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. The student is selected based on an application process including a review of academic achievement, spirit essays, and interviews with the Board of Directors of the Club. Funds for the Scholarship are provided through the Club's fundraising efforts, as well as a 1/3 match by the University of Illinois Alumni Association.

Krista will be presented with the award during the Illini Club Scholarship Banquet, June 14, 2007, at the Patrick Haley Mansion. Illini Football Coach Ron Zook is this year's keynote speaker.

Also, Mr. Ed Dollinger of Edwards Jones Investments will receive the first annual Alumni Achievement Award.

The Alumni Achievement Award is presented to a University of Illinois alum with ties to Will County who has honored the University of Illinois through outstanding leadership in their professional career and in service to their community.
